Shahbaloot
A fruit that can be sold in crores and billions in the world is being eaten only by squirrels in Pakistan.
In Urdu language it is called Shah Balut and in Pashtuns it is called Pargi. This fruit is Acorn from which a 200 gram packet of coffee is selling for 40 dollars in the world. In the northern regions of Pakistan, there are millions of naturally growing chestnut trees - the fruit of which has so far only been used by squirrels.
In Morocco, this fruit has been used as a substitute for edible oil and coffee since ancient times. The leaves it has are eaten by sheep and goats.
